Trump Claims White House Treats "Artificial Intelligence" as "THE ENEMY"
Former President Donald Trump claimed on Truth Social that the White House treats anyone who uses the term "Artificial Intelligence" as an enemy of the state, insisting the correct term is "Super Intelligence."
In a post published Wednesday, Trump wrote: "The White House considers anyone that uses the term, 'Artificial Intelligence,' as opposed to the highly accepted new and more accurate term, 'Super Intelligence,' THE ENEMY!"
The claim comes as the White House continues to use the term "Artificial Intelligence" in official executive orders, agency guidance, and public statements. No federal directive has classified the use of the term as adversarial.
Context
Trump has made AI policy a signature issue since leaving office. In previous statements, he has called for a US-led AI development push and framed the technology race with China as a national security priority.
His post did not cite any specific White House policy, statement, or official document to support the claim.
Official Terminology
The White House and federal agencies — including the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and the Department of Defense — continue to use "Artificial Intelligence" in official documents.
"Super Intelligence" is used primarily in AI research, science fiction, and academic discussion. It is not a standard term in US federal policy.
